Company
A serious answer to a serious obligation.
Simpatico is built in Australia for Australian workplaces. Live and in production, proven through pilots, and governed by a clinical psychologist. We built a compliance layer, not a wellness app, and we hold ourselves to that standard.
Why we exist
Compliance is the floor. Engagement is the point.
For decades, workplace mental health support has been reactive, clinical, and easy to ignore, reaching around 3-5% of a workforce while the rest stayed invisible. For blue-collar, shift-based, frontline and safety-critical workers, that gap is widest and the stakes are highest.
We believe psychosocial safety only works if people actually engage with it, and that the organisations carrying this new legal duty deserve evidence, not guesswork.
The workers carrying the most psychosocial risk are often the least likely to seek help. Traditional programs are built for the people who already put their hand up. Simpatico was built for the ones who don't. That's the gap engagement closes, and why visibility, not just support, is the point.

The regulatory moment
The rules changed. The tools didn't keep up.
Psychosocial safety became an enforceable WHS duty, and boards became accountable for it overnight. But the tools most organisations had (reactive EAPs and consumer wellbeing apps) were never built to identify hazards, reach the workforce, or produce evidence.
Simpatico exists to close that gap: a purpose-built compliance and governance layer for the workforces most exposed and least served.

Clinical oversight is not an advisory badge. It is a required release gate: the Clinical Advisory Group reviews conversational design, escalation thresholds, and every material model update before it ships.

How we build
Five principles, encoded in the product.
01
Purpose limitation
Constrained to engagement and navigation. No clinical scope.
02
Human in the loop
Every escalation needs human judgement. AI provides signal.
03
Explainability
Hazard mapping is traceable and auditable against inputs.
04
Data integrity
Identity is not collected. De-identified aggregates by default.
05
Graceful fallback
If the model can't answer confidently, it defers and signposts.
Investors
We speak with a small number of aligned investors who understand regulated, clinically-governed categories. Introductions are handled discreetly.
